Christmas food at the Cosy Bar!

Hello everyone! This post is on Christmas Food in the Belfast bar- Cosy Bar

The Cosy Bar has started doing their Christmas menu! They have started doing food on Saturdays as well as Sundays. They are open on Saturdays from 11:30am-6pm and Sundays from 1pm-6pm.

On a Saturday they do 'Christmas Loaded Fries', (chunky chips, turkey & ham, stuffing ball, yorkies, pigs N blankets & roast gravy). I didn't know what to expect when I ordered this, as it was only £7.50! The portion was huge and so filling. The side of gravy was perfect to pour over everything to get a great taste. There was turkey and ham inside the stuffing ball which was indulged with flavours. My favourite part was the pigs N blankets with the gravy. I love Christmas and if you want to get in the Christmas spirit this is the meal for you! Another meal that looked good but I didn't try it myself was the wings, you could either get 12 wings for £7.95 or 24 chicken wings for £11.95. You get a choice of BBQ or Spicy wings, served with chunky chips & a dip of choice. My friend got the spicy ones and said they had so much flavour and the spice wasn't over powering.

On a Sunday they do 'Roast Turkey & Ham', (served with roast potato, creamy mash, yorkshire pudding, roasted vegetables & red wine & thyme gravy). This is such a classic, that would cost a lot more to buy everything and make it yourself than go out for this. This cost me £12.95 for this huge roast! It was really tasty when I tried it, the only thing I would say I would have liked more gravy as it soaks into the roast quickly.

I highly recommend the Christmas special menu on Saturday and Sunday, if you need to get into the Christmas festivities definitely give this a go! The Christmas decor is so homely and 'cosy' at the Cosy bar!
